Founded in Somalia the year 2005, Agency for Relief and Development (ARD) identifies itself as a Somalia Local NGO with the overarching objective of strengthening, developing and promoting the lives and livelihoods of the most vulnerable and marginalized groups in the arid and semi-arid drought prone affected areas of Somalia.
The organization is active in the development and humanitarian aid delivery in the region which started in Laascaanood district, of Sool Region, but quickly scaled-up to encompass diverse other areas of and regions across Puntland
