Protection
As part of ARD's commitment to promoting sustainable development and social justice, we have developed a comprehensive protection program to safeguard the rights and well-being of vulnerable populations. Our program is grounded in the principles of human rights and aims to empower individuals, families, and communities to protect themselves against violence, exploitation, and abuse.
Through our protection program, we provide support and assistance to survivors of violence, including medical care, legal aid, and psychosocial support. We also work with local authorities to strengthen child protection systems and prevent child labor, trafficking, and abuse. Overall, ARD's protection program is an integral part of our efforts to promote sustainable development and ensure a just and peaceful society for all. We remain committed to advancing human rights and supporting vulnerable populations through our various initiatives.
In this, we carry out programs such as:
- Facilitating community-based conflict resolution and peacebuilding initiatives
- Providing legal support and representation for vulnerable populations, including refugees and migrants.
- Conducting awareness-raising campaigns on issues related to human rights, protection, and social justice.
- Supporting the education and empowerment of women and girls to prevent gender-based violence.
- Providing safe spaces for survivors of domestic violence, including shelters and counseling services.
